Nigeria win their second game at Afrobasket.
Nigeria’s men’s basketball team, D’Tigers, recorded an 87-66 victory over Tunisia in their second, game at the 2025 Afrobasket in Angola.
Their second win in succession followed an opening-day triumph against Madagascar on Wednesday.
Josh Okogie of the Houston Rockets delivered a career-high 33 points to inspire the team to a 21-point margin.
D’Tigers will complete their group stage campaign against Cameroon on Sunday.
CBI News reports that Nigeria which has lifted the men’s Afrobasket title only once, in 2015, have finished as runners-up on three occasions.
